Each of these blankets, woven on a traditional wooden loom from locally sourced, black-dyed cotton, is lovingly handmade with a passion for detail by experienced weavers.

A minimalist woven white zigzag pattern and the long fringes give the blanket a pleasant lightness so that it can be used all year round, whether in your home in winter or outside in summer. It is sure to become one of your favourite pieces, and especially when combined with our cushions, it is pure boho!

Please wash cold by hand only, do not bleach and do not dry in the sun.

Material: Cotton

Our blankets are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

We use cotton from local farmers on Java for our products. The cotton fields are naturally fertilized and the cotton bolls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine. The cotton obtained is pressed into bales, combed and spun into yarn by hand. After the yarn has been spun in this way, it is processed by hand by the craftsmen on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is characteristic for its absorbency and skin friendliness. Our cotton is not chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This blanket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
