With the round Endah lampshade, you can bring a tropical atmosphere into any small living area in no time at all. Whether above the bedside table, the dining table or the sink - it illuminates the room with warm light and creates a unique atmosphere. Especially in a parallel multiple suspension, Endah unfolds its full effect due to its narrow shape.

The ceiling lamp captivates with its elegant design of finely cut raffia fibres that enclose a round metal frame. A special ring for fixing the bulb holder is also part of the frame.

Endah ships without bulb and cable. However, you can easily purchase matching bulbs and cables in your preferred colour and length at any hardware store.

Main material: Raffia

Our lampshades are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Raffia (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia. About every two years the plant renews its leaves and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by humans, dried in the sun for a few days to weeks and processed into wickerwork, depending on the desired degree of browning. The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material somewhat more expensive compared to other plant fibers. While it is hardly known in Europe, the material has proven itself with the local population in Southeast Asia in the form of all kinds of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft, but robust nature.

When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we purchase our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
