Sayan is a funnel-shaped lampshade made of tightly woven, filigree rattan fibres. With a width of up to 60 cm, the rattan lamp is guaranteed to leave a strong impression in your home.
The light shade and the wicker pattern, which is reminiscent of traditional European wicker baskets, make the lampshade the ideal accessory for homes in the modern Scandinavian interior style, which creates a homely feeling with light colours and simple shapes.
Sayan is available in two different sizes and comes with a ring for attaching light bulb sockets. It comes without any accessories, but you can find suitable bulbs and cables in any hardware store.

Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to the production by hand and natural variations in materials.

Main material: Rattan
Our lampshades are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.

Production site:
This lamp is handmade in Bali, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
